Our Certifications & Standards
BCIT Level S Asbestos Surveyor
The Level S certification from BCIT (British Columbia Institute of Technology) is the recognized provincial standard for asbestos surveyors in BC. It covers hazard identification, sampling methodology, risk assessment, and WorkSafe BC regulatory compliance.
Required under WorkSafe BC OHS Regulation Part 6.1 — Asbestos.
WorkSafe BC Compliance
All inspections conducted by Guardian Laboratories follow WorkSafe BC Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) regulations. Our reports are structured to meet the documentation requirements for pre-renovation and pre-demolition asbestos surveys as mandated by WorkSafe BC.
